Thanks to all who stopped by the St. Patrick’s Blog Hop!  I enjoyed all the comments and after hearing all the gorgeous colors, don’t you know I went right out to my flower garden today to primp and prune those babies?  I sure did and it was a beautiful day to do so.  Will share pictures on my garden blog BloominThyme come Monday!

But right now we’re talking winners and congratulations go out to Savannah Miller ~~ woohoo!  Congratulations, Savannah.  I hope when this garden-themed package lands on your doorstep it brings a smile to your face and puts a spring in your step. :)  (Corny I know, but it works for me!)  And you will smell divine with that lotion.

If you didn’t win, don’t dismay.  You’ll have another chance in a few weeks when I host the “Authors in Bloom” blog hop.  Each “stop on the hop” will include a gardening tip and/or recipe — just in time for garden season!!  And the grand prize will be much like this hop:  an ereader and gift card, not to mention more garden goodies from me!

So mark your calendars!  The hop begins April 9th and starts right here.

With so much available in the way of erotica, I sometimes wonder if there’s a place for middle ground.  Are readers interested in sexy as opposed to sex?  How detailed must the consummation be?  Samantha Rawlings is one sexually liberated woman, that much is certain, but she also enjoys the emotional connection, the pull between personalities.

Sure she and Victor Marin are well-suited physically, but how about mentally, emotionally—even spiritually?

This Sunday, let’s try it with these six sentences from my current release, LUST ON THE ROCKS:

And it touched him, this side of her.  No longer the hard, edgy, tough-minded lawyer, she was the kindhearted compassionate defender of peace.  “I didn’t realize you were such a philosopher.”

“I’m not.  I just do what makes sense and feels right,” she said with a wink as the old Sam returned and pinched his rear.  “Hence, your presence in my home.”

So what do you think?  Can Vic handle a complex woman like Sam?  Can she maintain her resolve to remain unattached? For a better sense of how these two connect, head on over and read an excerpt!  They’re a powerful combination…

Can you say it in six sentences?  Can six sentences taken from a novel meaningly convey its essence?  It’s an interesting proposition and one I’ve decided to give a try for Six Sentence Sunday:

Six sentences from my current release, LUST ON THE ROCKS.

“My boss is sexier than any woman has a right to be.”

Careless to the schoolgirl grin lengthening across her face, Sam was captivated within the spotlight of his attention—which was crazy!—she was a woman used to entertaining the hot-crackle-pop of new lovers, the tentative taste of first beginnings…

“Not only stunning, but her mind runs circles around most others.  A trait I find incredibly appealing in a woman,” Vic said, his voice quiet, his gaze heating through the evening breeze.

Doubt pushed past pleasure.  Should they do this?

What do you think?  Is six sentences enough?  If you’re like me, you definitely need more…

So head on over to read an excerpt, or download the entire book today!  This one’s a quick read, but satisfying.
