Hot & Deadly Blog Hop

Thanks for stopping by my spot on the Hot & Deadly Blog Hop! Today we’re talking hot and deadly~ men! My current series, Ladd Springs, is full of mystery and drama and without giving away too much detail, I can assure you nothing like my favorite villain, Jason Bourne  (or is he the good guy?). Undercover, sought by his own government–the same government that turned him into an assassin–James Bourne and the Robert Ludlum Bourne series are some of my favorites. They’re the reason I’m wary people might be peeking through my windows at night, but worthy of a read.

Delaney Wilkins and Nick Harris are at odds over a deathbed promise and a mysterious find in the Tennessee forest.  Both want the same thing–title to Ladd Springs–but they’ll have to fight each other to get it AND the building attraction between them.

Now Jason is usually at odds with Carlos the Jackal and the United States government rather than a woman, his accomplice Marie was delightful as she helped him tackle his deeply troubled past in search of his true identity. I don’t remember how “close” they became, but I’m sure all those nights cavorting across the continents of Europe provided some lovely settings. :)

How about you? Did you read the Bourne series? Like Jason Bourne or do you have another favorite? I’d love to hear! As for my stop on the hop giveaway, I’m offering up for grabs a copy of book #1 in my latest series, Ladd Springs.

Delaney Wilkins finds herself at odds with hotel developer Nick Harris over a deathbed promise and a mysterious find in the Tennessee forest.  Both are after title to Ladd Springs, But Ernie Ladd, current owner of the property and uncle to Delaney, is adamantly opposed to them both.

Felicity Wilkins, Delaney’s daughter, deserves to inherit her family’s legacy, but neighbor Clem Sweeney is working against her, ingratiating himself with Ernie Ladd.  Clem is also harboring a secret that will make him a very wealthy man—unless the others stop him before he can bring it to fruition.

Complicating matters is Annie Owens.  Ex-girlfriend to Jeremiah Ladd, Ernie’s estranged son living in Atlanta, she declares her daughter Casey is Jeremiah’s, making Casey every bit as entitled to the property as Felicity—only Annie hasn’t proven this claim.  Yet.

All are fighting to get the property, but only one will walk away with the gold.  Which will it be?  Find out in the first installment of Ladd Springs…

  5. Gavin from Cassie Carver’s series is my current favorite. He hasn’t yet (out of 3 books) gotten the heroine, so he is mine, all mine. Now, if only he’d step out of those pages…

Ladd Springs sounds like a brilliant book. The little bit up above left me super curious about what will happen next!! Thank you for that, it sounds so good and the book cover is perfect.

As for my favorite handsome villain, I think that I might have to go with Johnny Depp in Sweeney Todd. Loved that one and it’s the first that popped into my head. He was sort of a villain in one way and a poor guy just getting revenge in another but I think I can probably count him as a villain for this particular post (I hope).

Thank you for the chance to enter the giveaway! I hope everyone has a very happy day/night!
